1-Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F, Gas 4). Lightly grease a 30 x 23 cm (12 x 9 in) Swiss roll tin and line with non-stick baking paper.
2-Prepare the mixture: Measure all the ingredients into a bowl and beat until evenly blended. Turn the mixture into the prepared tin and level the top.
3-Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes or until the cake has shrunk from the sides of the tin and springs back when pressed in the center with your fingertips.
4-Cool: Leave to cool in the tin for a few minutes, then turn out, peel off the parchment, and finish cooling on a wire rack. Cut into bars or squares as desired.
