Ingredients

– 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 cup chopped macadamia nuts, divided (with 1/4 cup reserved for topping)

– 1/2 cup white chocolate chips, divided (with 1/8 cup reserved for topping)

Instructions

1-Preheat oven to 350°F and grease or line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.

2-In a medium bowl, mix 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt.

3-In a large bowl or mixer, cream 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature) and 1 1/3 cups packed light brown sugar until light and creamy.

4-Add 2 large eggs (room temperature) and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, then mix until well combined.

5-Add the flour mixture and gently mix until just combined, avoiding overmixing.

6-Reserve 1/4 cup of the chopped macadamia nuts and 1/8 cup of the white chocolate chips for topping.

7-Fold the remaining macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips into the batter.

8-Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.

9-Top with the reserved macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips.

10-Bake for 25-28 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean (remove earlier for a gooier texture). Remember, the total prep time is just 15 minutes, with 25 minutes of cooking, making this a quick win for any occasion.
