Ingredients

– 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast

– 4 tablespoons oyster sauce (adjust to taste)

– 3 tablespoons granulated sugar

– 3 tablespoons light sesame oil (not toasted)

– 1/2 cup chicken broth

– 1 tablespoon soy sauce

– 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

1: In a small bowl, whisk together 4 tablespoons oyster sauce, 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, 3 tablespoons light sesame oil, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1/2 cup chicken broth, and 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Set aside.

2: Cook 12 ounces uncooked chow mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and rinse with cold water.

3: Heat 3 tablespoons olive oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat, add 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into strips, and cook until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

4: Add 1 large carrot (julienned), 2 cups cabbage, and 2 garlic cloves to the pan; sautΓ© until the vegetables soften.

5: Return the chicken and noodles to the pan, pour in the sauce, and cook for 2 minutes until everything is evenly coated.

6: Garnish with chopped green onions from 1/2 bunch and serve hot.
