🍫 Vampire Fudge is a rich and creamy Halloween treat featuring bold swirls of red and black for a festive touch.
πŸŽƒ Its smooth texture and striking appearance make it perfect for gatherings or gifting during the spooky season.

  • Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
  • Yield: 16-20 squares

Ingredients

– 1 β…“ cups white candy melts

– 1 β…“ cups dark chocolate candy melts

– 16 ounces vanilla frosting

– Black oil-based food coloring for coloring

– Red oil-based food coloring for coloring

Instructions

1-Start by lining an 8Γ—8 inch pan with parchment or foil, extending it over the edges for easy removal later this simple step makes cleanup a breeze.

2-Next, microwave the white and dark candy melts separately in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth to avoid any lumps. Once melted, heat the vanilla frosting in the microwave until it’s liquid, then divide it between the two mixtures for that creamy fudge base.

3-Add red food coloring to the white candy mixture and black food coloring to the dark chocolate one, stirring well to achieve those vivid hues. Alternate pouring dollops of the mixtures into the prepared pan to form beautiful swirls, then tap the pan to level everything out.

4-Cover the pan and refrigerate for at least one hour to let the fudge set properly, which enhances its texture and makes it easier to cut. After chilling, lift the fudge out using the extended edges, peel off the liner, and slice into 2-inch squares or use cookie cutters for fun shapes.

🎨 Use oil-based food coloring to avoid clumping in the mixture.
πŸ”ͺ Chill fudge and use a warm sharp knife, cleaning between cuts for clean slices.
❄️ Store in airtight containers at room temp for 1-2 weeks or refrigerated for up to 4 weeks.
πŸ₯Ά Freeze wrapped fudge up to 3 months; thaw overnight in fridge before serving.
⚠️ Signs of spoilage include hardness, dryness, crumbliness, or slimy texture.
