🧇 Ukrainian Waffle Cake brings a delightful no-bake dessert experience combining crispy wafers with a creamy dulce de leche filling.
🍮 This easy-to-make cake is perfect for quick preparation and delivers rich, smooth sweetness in every bite.

  • Total Time: 2 hours 20 minutes
  • Yield: Varies, depending on size of wafers

Ingredients

– 1 package of round or square wafers (with 9 layers and 9-inch diameter)

– 1 (14-ounce) can of cooked sweetened condensed milk (prepared as dulce de leche)

– 1/2 stick of unsalted butter, softened

– 1 teaspoon of lemon juice

Instructions

1-Combine the cooked sweetened condensed milk, softened unsalted butter, and lemon juice in a mixer bowl with a whisk attachment.

2-Beat the mixture on high speed for 3 minutes until it becomes smooth and creamy.

3-Spread the cream evenly over the wafer sheets, making sure it reaches the edges but not too thick to avoid excess dripping.

4-Assemble the cake into either 2 thinner stacks or 1 taller cake, as the thinner ones hold together better.

5-Press the cake under a heavy cutting board or something like a board with a bowl of water on top for at least 2 hours to help it set.

6-After pressing, slice the cake into bite-sized pieces for easy serving. For the best cuts, use a very sharp knife, such as a bread knife, to keep everything neat.
