🍤 Delight in the rich and buttery taste of Shrimp Scampi inspired by the famous flavors of Red Lobster.
🍋 This dish offers a quick and elegant seafood meal with vibrant lemon and garlic notes, perfect for any occasion.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound uncooked peeled and deveined shrimp

1 tablespoon olive oil

6 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 ¼ cups white cooking wine

4 teaspoons minced garlic

Juice from half a lemon

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Grated Parmesan cheese for garnishing

Instructions

1-First: heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the 1 pound of uncooked peeled and deveined shrimp and sauté until they turn pink and are cooked through, which takes about 2-3 minutes per side. Once done, set the shrimp aside to rest.

2-Next: reduce the heat and add 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter to the same skillet. Stir in 4 teaspoons of minced garlic and sauté until it’s fragrant, about 1 minute. Then, pour in 1 ¼ cups of white cooking wine and the juice from half a lemon, letting it simmer until the liquid reduces by half.

3-Stir in 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, then return the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes to coat the shrimp in the sauce. The whole process takes about 30 minutes total, with 10 minutes for prep and 20 for cooking.
