Ingredients
– 1/3 cup cream (or evaporated milk as an alternative)
– 1 tablespoon butter
– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
– 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
– 1/4 to 1/2 cup peanut butter (adjust to taste)
Instructions
1-Heat the butter and cream together over medium heat until the butter melts. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
2-Gradually add the cream mixture to the powdered sugar in a large bowl, stirring until a firm, dough-like consistency forms. Add the cream mixture slowly, as you may not need all of it.
3-Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
4-Roll the dough out as thinly as possible on wax paper, sprinkling powdered sugar on the surface and dough to prevent sticking.
5-Spread peanut butter evenly over the rolled dough.
6-Roll the dough into a log and slice it into pinwheel shapes.
7-Store the pinwheels in the refrigerator and serve chilled.
