πŸ‘ Peach Cobbler Recipe offers a warm, comforting homemade dessert with sweet peaches and a tender, buttery crust.
🍨 This easy-to-make recipe is perfect for any occasion and pairs wonderfully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for added indulgence.

  • Total Time: 55 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

– 5 peaches, peeled, cored, and sliced (about 4 cups)

– 1 quart jar of canned peaches, undrained

– 3/4 cup sugar

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 6 tablespoons butter for the batter

– 1 cup flour for the batter

– 1 cup sugar for the batter

– 2 teaspoons baking powder for the batter

– 1/4 teaspoon salt for the batter

– 3/4 cup milk for the batter

– Cinnamon for sprinkling on top

Instructions

1-First, add the sliced peaches, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt to a saucepan and stir. Cook on medium heat for a few minutes until the sugar dissolves and juices are released, then remove from heat. If you’re using 1 quart jar of canned peaches undrained, you can skip this step and move on directly.

2-Next, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Slice the 6 tablespoons of butter and add to a 9Γ—13 inch baking dish, placing it in the oven to melt the butter before removing it carefully.

3-In a large bowl, mix 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Stir in 3/4 cup milk just until combined, then pour the batter into the dish over the melted butter and smooth it evenly. This step builds the base that will soak up all those peach flavors.

4-Spoon the peaches and their juice over the batter and sprinkle cinnamon generously on top for that extra warmth. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 38-40 minutes until it’s bubbly and golden. Once done, let it cool for a bit and serve warm, perhaps with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a real treat.
