Ingredients

– 3 pounds (about 6-8 pieces) of chicken thighs

– 2 tablespoons of olive oil

– 2 teaspoons salt

– 2 teaspoons pepper

– 2 teaspoons garlic powder

– 2 teaspoons onion powder

– 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

– 1 teaspoon paprika

– optional additional seasoning

Instructions

1-Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil to catch drips and make cleanup easy.

2-Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Removing moisture is key for crispy skin.

3-Arrange thighs on the baking sheet. Space them out a bit for even cooking.

4-Drizzle with 2 tablespoons olive oil and rub to coat evenly on all sides.

5-Mix and sprinkle the spices: 2 teaspoons each salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning; 1 teaspoon paprika. Rub evenly. Add optional seasoning if you like extra kick.

6-Bake without moving or flipping for 35 to 45 minutes. Check internal temp hits 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

7-Rest 5 minutes before serving. Juices redistribute for max tenderness.
