Instructions
1-Roll lemons on the counter to maximize juice extraction, then juice Β½ to 2 lemons, straining seeds away.
2-Peel and grate the ginger using the edge of a spoon and grate directly into a glass or jar. For less fibrous texture, strain the ginger juice through cheesecloth.
3-Combine liquids: Add raw apple cider vinegar and optional honey or preferred sweetener to the lemon juice and grated ginger. Stir well until honey dissolves completely.
4-Add water: Pour warm or room temperature filtered water (1 to 2 cups) into the mixture. For a fizzy variation, replace half the water with unsweetened seltzer.
5-Enhance with optional add-ins: Stir in cayenne pepper, cinnamon, turmeric, or antioxidant powders if desired.
6-Serve immediately for best flavor and benefits, preferably on an empty stomach in the morning. For chilled servings, refrigerate for 10 minutes or serve over ice with garnishes like fresh mint or lemon slices.
