Ingredients

Β½ to 2 cm fresh ginger knob, grated

1 teaspoon raw honey or preferred sweetener

1 to 2 cups warm or room temperature filtered water

Pinch of cayenne pepper, cinnamon, turmeric, and black pepper

ΒΌ teaspoon butterfly pea flower

Yerba mate tea

ΒΌ teaspoon camu camu powder

Fresh mint leaves or lemon/lime wheels for garnish

Instructions

1-Roll and juice lemons: Roll lemons firmly on the counter to maximize juice. Juice Β½ to 2 lemons, straining seeds for smoothness.

2-Peel and grate ginger: Use the edge of a spoon to peel fresh ginger, then grate directly into your container. For a smoother texture, strain grated ginger juice through cheesecloth if desired.

3-Mix lemon juice, ginger, and apple cider vinegar: Combine with 1 to 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and optional honey or sweetener; stir until dissolved.

4-Add water: Pour 1 to 2 cups of warm or room temperature filtered water. Replace half the water with unsweetened seltzer if you prefer a sparkling version.

5-Incorporate optional boosters: Stir in optional cayenne pepper, cinnamon, turmeric, butterfly pea flower infusion, yerba mate tea, or camu camu powder for extra flavor and benefits.
