1 cup chicken stock or low-sodium chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream
Β½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
ΒΌ teaspoon oregano or Β½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon fresh basil leaves or finely chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Season chicken cutlets with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour, shaking off excess.
2. Heat olive oil and half the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, 4-5 minutes per side. Transfer out of the pan.
4. (Optional) Cook onion in the same skillet until translucent, then add garlic and chili flakes, cooking until fragrant.
5. Deglaze the pan with chicken stock, scraping up bits; reduce slightly for 2 minutes.
6. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and herbs, return chicken to the pan with any juices.
7. Add cream and Parmesan, simmer until sauce thickens and chicken is tender, about 5 minutes.
8. Adjust seasoning; garnish with basil or parsley before serving over pasta or rice.
