🧀 Ham and Cheese Sliders are an easy and delicious meal solution featuring soft rolls filled with savory ham and melted Swiss cheese.
🍞 Perfect for quick dinners or gatherings, these sliders bake to golden perfection with a flavorful buttery sauce, satisfying a crowd with minimal effort.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders

Ingredients

– 1/2 cup melted butter

– 2 tablespoons brown sugar

– 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

– 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

– 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

– 1 tablespoon dried minced onion or 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder

– 1 pound of rolls (24 small or 12 large)

– 1 pound thinly sliced deli ham

– 1 pound Swiss cheese

– 12 slider buns for the base of the sandwiches

– 8 oz Swiss cheese additional for layering

– 1/2 cup mayonnaise for moisture and richness

– 2 tbsp Dijon mustard for tangy depth

– 2 tbsp melted butter for brushing the tops

– 1 tbsp poppy seeds for subtle nutty flavor

Instructions

1-First, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. In a bowl, mix together the 1/2 cup melted butter, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon poppy seeds, and 1 tablespoon dried minced onion to create the sauce.

2-Next, slice the 1 pound of rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in the prepared dish. Layer half of the 1 pound thinly sliced deli ham on the rolls, followed by the 1 pound Swiss cheese, and then the remaining ham. Place the top halves of the rolls on top and pour the sauce evenly over them.

3-Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the tops are crispy. Let the sliders cool slightly, then cut them into individual pieces and serve warm. This method takes about 10 minutes to prepare and 25 minutes to cook, for a total of 35 minutes.
