– 1 teaspoon Sriracha (adjust to taste for heat)

– 1/2 teaspoon salt (add more as desired)

– 1/4 cup red wine vinegar

– 1/4 cup chopped green onions (green and white parts)

– 2 (9 oz) chicken breasts

– 1 pound napa cabbage, halved lengthwise and thinly sliced crosswise

– 1 1/2 to 2 cups matchstick carrots (or 2 medium carrots cut into matchsticks)

– 2/3 cup slivered or sliced almonds, toasted

– 1/2 cup chopped cilantro leaves

– 3 green onions, chopped (green and white parts)

– 1 teaspoon white sesame seeds, toasted

– 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds, toasted (or additional white sesame seeds)

Instructions

1-First, whisk together the soy sauce, ginger, canola oil, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, Sriracha, and salt to create the base.

2-Then, marinate your chicken breasts in a portion of this mix for at least 30 minutes to lock in those tasty flavors.

3-While that’s happening, prep your veggies by slicing the napa cabbage and cutting the carrots into matchsticks it’s all about that fresh crunch.

4-Next, fire up your grill to medium-high heat and cook the chicken for about 4 minutes per side until it’s fully done.

5-Let it rest before slicing, then toss everything together in a big bowl with the dressing.

6-Once assembled, sprinkle on the sesame seeds and serve it up your family will love how it brings everyone around the table.

7-If you’re making it ahead, keep the dressing separate to keep things crisp, just like I do for picnics.
