4 large garlic cloves, minced

1Β½ teaspoons lemon zest, from one lemon

Instructions

1-First, take each chicken breast and place it one at a time in a 1-gallon plastic bag. Pound it to an even Β½-inch thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin for uniform cooking.

2-Next, in another plastic bag, mix together 6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, 4 large minced garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon dried thyme, Β½ teaspoon dried oregano, 1ΒΌ teaspoons salt, Β½ teaspoon black pepper, and 1Β½ teaspoons lemon zest; add the chicken and massage the marinade in evenly.

3-Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to let flavors soak in.

4-Preheat your grill to high heat and oil the grates to prevent sticking.

5-Place the chicken on the grill, cover it, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until done, avoiding overcooking as per the recipe.

6-Finally, remove the chicken, let it rest for 3 to 4 minutes, and serve with your favorite sides for a complete meal.
