🍗 Enjoy a restaurant-quality creamy chicken dinner in just 15 minutes, perfect for busy weeknights

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 3 servings

Ingredients

– 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs

– 2 chopped garlic cloves

– 1 cup chicken broth or water (with more as needed)

– 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic herb seasoning (divided)

– 2 tablespoons fresh minced herbs such as parsley, chives, or tarragon

– 4 ounces soft cheese sliced into pieces, either goat cheese or cream cheese

Instructions

1-First Step: Prepare the Chicken Begin by patting dry the 1 pound of boneless skinless chicken thighs with a paper towel. Season them with a bit of oil, salt, pepper, and half of the 1 1/2 teaspoons of garlic herb seasoning. This helps the flavors stick and promotes even browning.

2-Second Step: Sear the Chicken Heat your pan over medium-high heat and sear the seasoned chicken thighs for about 8 minutes without moving them, allowing a nice golden crust to form. Flip them and cook for another 2 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit for safety.

3-Third Step: Make the Creamy Sauce After removing the chicken, lower the heat and add a little oil, the 2 chopped garlic cloves, and the remaining garlic herb seasoning. Cook until fragrant, then deglaze the pan with a small amount of the 1 cup chicken broth or water, scraping up those tasty browned bits.

4-Fourth Step: Add Cheese and Herbs Whisk in the 4 ounces of soft cheese pieces one at a time until smooth, then slowly add more broth or water until the sauce is just right. Stir in the 2 tablespoons of fresh minced herbs off the heat and adjust seasoning as needed. Finally, coat the chicken with this creamy sauce before serving.
