  • Total Time: 22 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

– 2 pounds ground beef (cold)

– 4 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tablespoons onion, minced

– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

– Salt and pepper, to taste

– 6 hamburger buns

– 6 slices bacon, cooked

– 4 ounces goat cheese, crumbled

– ½ cup fig jam

– 2 cups arugula

Instructions

1-First Step: In a mixing bowl, combine the cold ground beef, minced garlic, minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined using your hands to keep the meat tender.

2-Second Step: Shape the mixture into 6 patties and place them on a plate or tray for easy handling.

3-Third Step: Heat a grill to 450-500 degrees Fahrenheit (230-260 degrees Celsius) and cook the burgers for 6 to 7 minutes, flipping once, until they reach an internal temperature of about 145 degrees Fahrenheit (63 degrees Celsius) for medium doneness.

4-Fourth Step: While the burgers grill, prepare your toppings by cooking the bacon if not already done.

5-Fifth Step: Assemble the burgers by spreading fig jam on the top half of each hamburger bun, placing the patty on the bottom bun, and topping with crumbled goat cheese, cooked bacon slices, and arugula. Serve immediately for the freshest taste.
