Ingredients
½ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons butter, divided
4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk
8 ounces angel hair pasta
Fresh parsley for garnish
¼ teaspoon onion powder (optional)
¼ teaspoon oregano (optional)
¼ teaspoon thyme (optional)
¼ teaspoon parsley (optional)
¼ teaspoon pepper (optional)
Instructions
1-Melt 2 tablespoons of the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
2-Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fragrant.
3-Add the 2 cups of chicken broth and any optional seasonings, then slowly stir in the 1 cup of milk and bring to a boil.
4-Add the 8 ounces of angel hair pasta; break it in half if needed or twist it into the pan with tongs as it softens, letting it simmer for 4 to 5 minutes while stirring occasionally.
5-Reduce heat to low, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter, and toss to coat the pasta.
6-Gradually sprinkle in the ½ cup of Parmesan cheese while stirring constantly until the sauce is smooth and well combined. It will thicken as it stands.
7-Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
