Ingredients
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese
2 green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Dash of freshly ground black pepper
2/3 cup pecans, finely chopped
Instructions
1-Beat the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until it’s smooth and creamy.
2-Add 2 cups of freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese, 2 chopped green onions, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, and a dash of freshly ground black pepper; mix well to combine everything evenly.
3-Scrape the mixture into a single lump using a rubber spatula for easy handling.
4-Lightly grease your hands with non-stick cooking spray and shape the mixture into a round ball.
5-Spread the 2/3 cup of finely chopped pecans on a plate, then press the cheese ball onto the pecans to coat all sides evenly.
6-Wrap the coated cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 1 hour to firm it up.
7-Remove it from the refrigerator about 20 minutes before serving to soften slightly, then serve with crackers, pretzels, vegetables, mini bagels, or your preferred dippables using a spreading knife to avoid breaking them.
