Juice of 2 limes
1/2 cup sour cream or full-fat Greek yogurt
1/4 cup water (optional, to thin sauce if needed)
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 to 3 cups shredded green cabbage
8 small tortillas (corn or flour)
2 avocados, smashed or sliced
1/4 cup Cotija cheese
Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

1. Pulse all sauce ingredients in a blender until smooth, thinning with water if desired.
2. Toss shredded cabbage with some sauce to make slaw, reserving extra for tacos.
3. Pat shrimp dry and coat with taco spice mix.
4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high, sautรฉ shrimp for 5-8 minutes until cooked.
5. Warm tortillas on a skillet or flame for better pliability.
6. Assemble tacos with avocado, slaw, shrimp, and Cotija. Finish with lime and sauce.
