🌶️ Chili Cheese Dip offers a bold, spicy flavor paired with a creamy, melty texture that’s perfect for any party or casual gathering.
🧀 This easy recipe uses few ingredients and comes together quickly, making it an ideal choice for an irresistible crowd-pleasing appetizer.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes to 3 hours
  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

– 2 1/2 cups chili forms the hearty base of the dip

– 4 ounces cream cheese creates a creamy texture

– 2 cups shredded cheese adds rich, melty flavor

– 1/4 cup salsa brings in a tangy kick

– Cayenne pepper or hot sauce for extra heat if desired

Instructions

1-First, prepare your ingredients by cubing the cream cheese and shredding the cheese if needed.

2-For the stovetop method, combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat.

3-Stir constantly for about 5 minutes until the mixture is fully melted and smooth. If it seems too thick, add a little milk to thin it out.

4-For the slow cooker method, spray the cooker with non-stick spray or use a liner, then layer the cream cheese cubes on the bottom, add the chili and salsa, and top with shredded cheese.

5-Cook on low for 1 to 3 hours, then stir before serving to mix everything evenly.

⏰ Make the dip 1 to 2 days ahead to deepen flavors or freeze for 2 to 3 months.
🥄 Stir the dip well before serving, especially after slow cooking or reheating to ensure even texture.
