Ingredients
– 12 rolls (such as Hawaiian-style sweet rolls)
– 12 oz shredded chicken
– 1 cup ranch dressing, plus extra for spreading
– 12 oz bacon
– 9 slices sharp cheddar cheese or Colby Jack cheese
– Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
– Chives (optional)
Instructions
1-Cut the raw bacon into 1/2-inch pieces and cook on the stovetop until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
2-Preheat the oven to 325°F.
3-In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with about three-quarters of the bacon bits and just under 1 cup of ranch dressing, adjusting the dressing to keep the mixture moist but not wet.
4-Slice the rolls in half to separate the bottoms and tops.
5-Spread a thin layer of ranch dressing on the bottom rolls using a brush or spoon.
6-Cut the cheese slices into quarters, making 36 small squares, and place one square on each bottom roll.
7-Evenly distribute the chicken mixture over the cheese, then add two more cheese squares and the remaining bacon bits on top of each.
8-Cover with the top halves of the rolls.
9-Spread a light layer of ranch dressing on the top rolls and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
10-Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 7 to 10 minutes.
11-Garnish with chopped chives before serving.

🥓 Cook bacon cut in small pieces for better texture rather than breaking up cooked whole slices.
🍞 Use rolls like Hawaiian sweet rolls for subtle sweetness or substitute with hoagie, hot dog, or hamburger rolls as preferred.
🥗 Avoid overusing ranch dressing to prevent soggy sliders; keep the chicken mixture moist but not wet.
