– Β½ teaspoon Garlic powder
– 2 cups Shredded sharp cheddar cheese (about 8 ounces)
Instructions
1-Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2-Place cauliflower in a microwave-safe bowl: Place cauliflower in a microwave-safe bowl with 1 inch of water and microwave on high for 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
3-Melt butter: Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
4-Stir the flour: Stir the flour into the melted butter and cook for about 3 minutes.
5-Gradually whisk in the milk: Gradually whisk in the milk until fully incorporated and thick.
6-Remove from heat and stir in seasonings: Remove from heat and stir in salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
7-Add cheese: Add shredded sharp cheddar cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
8-Stir the drained cauliflower: Stir the drained cauliflower into the cheese sauce.
9-Transfer: Transfer to a 9Γ13 inch baking dish.
10-Bake: Bake for 25 minutes until bubbly and browned.
11-Broil: Broil for 2-4 minutes to brown the top.
12-Allow to cool: Allow to cool slightly before serving.
