– 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice, from one lime, plus more if desired
– 3 tablespoons water
– ¼ cup fresh chopped cilantro, plus extra for garnish if desired
Instructions
1-First, rinse and drain the black beans to remove any excess liquid.
2-In the saucepan, combine and cook the onions, garlic, and jalapeños in olive oil until soft.
3-Transfer the cooked veggies to your blender and add the remaining ingredients.
4-Blend the mixture, adjusting thickness with water or lime juice as needed.
5-Taste and season to your preference before serving, perhaps with a garnish of cilantro.
