Ingredients
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted or softened
– 1 box yellow cake mix, approximately 15.25 ounces
– 2 large eggs
– 1 1/2 cups M&Ms (any kind or size)
Instructions
1-In a mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup unsalted butter, 1 box (approximately 15.25 ounces) of yellow cake mix, and 2 large eggs. Use a hand mixer if the butter is softened, or stir by hand if melted, until the mixture is smooth with no lumps.
2-Stir in 1 1/2 cups of M&Ms until the dough is thick and evenly mixed.
3-Scoop 2-tablespoon balls of dough onto a parchment or silicone-lined cookie sheet. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
4-Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Space the cookies 2 inches apart on a separate lined baking tray.
5-Bake for 10 to 13 minutes, or until the cookies lose their glossy sheen. They will be puffy and will settle slightly as they cool.
6-Immediately after baking, press a few extra M&Ms on top of each cookie for decoration.
7-Cool for at least 10 minutes before removing from the baking sheet.
