Instructions

1-Preheat oven to 350Β°F. Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan to keep your cake from sticking.

2-Combine 1 Β½ tablespoons lemon juice with milk to make 1 Β½ cups; set aside for that perfect tangy touch.

3-Mix mashed bananas with the remaining 1 tablespoon lemon juice; set aside to enhance flavor and keep them fresh.

4-Beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until combined. Add eggs one at a time and vanilla, then beat on high speed until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.

5-In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. This step keeps your dry ingredients even and ready to mix.

6-Alternately add the flour mixture and the milk mixture to the butter mixture, stirring just until combined after each addition. Do not over-mix, then fold in the mashed banana mixture for that signature moisture.

7-Pour batter into the prepared pan. Place pan in oven and immediately reduce oven temperature to 300Β°F. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
