6-In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt before alternating adding this dry mixture and the milk mixture to the egg mix, stirring just until combined donβt overmix to avoid a dense cake.
7-Fold in the bananas gently, pour the batter into your prepared pan, and reduce the oven temperature to 300Β°F.
8-Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, starting to check at 55 minutes with a toothpick for doneness.
9-After baking, place the pan in the freezer for 45 minutes to lock in moisture, then cool completely before frosting.
10-For the frosting, beat butter and cream cheese together until fluffy, add lemon zest and lemon juice or vanilla, and gradually mix in powdered sugar until you reach the desired consistency.
11-Spread it over the cooled cake for a creamy finish.
