Instructions

1-Preheat and Prepare Pan: Getting ready to bake banana bread is straightforward and fun, especially if you’re new to the kitchen. Start by preheating your oven to 350°F and greasing a loaf pan that’s about 9.25 by 5.25 by 2.75 inches. This sets the stage for a loaf that comes out easily and looks great.

2-Roast and Prepare Walnuts: Next, if you’re using walnuts, lightly roast them on a pan while stirring to keep them from burning, then chop them coarsely and let them cool. In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar or honey if that’s your choice until it’s smooth and fluffy.
