πŸ₯© Balsamic Grilled Flank Steak offers a perfect balance of tangy glaze and tender, flavorful beef, making it a standout dish for any grilling occasion.
πŸ”₯ The marinade enhances natural beef flavors while the quick grill allows for juicy, perfectly cooked steak every time.

  • Total Time: 2 hours 15 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

– 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar Adds that signature tangy sweetness and helps tenderize the meat.

– 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard Brings a sharp, savory note to the marinade.

– 1 tablespoon olive oil Keeps the steak moist and adds healthy fats for balance.

– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder Infuses a subtle, aromatic flavor without extra prep.

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Provides a deep, savory boost that’s easy to mix in.

– 1 1/2 lb beef flank steak The star of the show, offering rich taste and quick grill time.

– Coarse kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste for seasoning) Essential for enhancing and balancing flavors.

Instructions

1-In a large resealable zip-top bag, combine the 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Add the 1 1/2 lb beef flank steak, seal the bag, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours, turning occasionally for even coverage.

2-Take the steak out of the marinade and throw away any leftovers. Season it with coarse kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to your liking.

3-Heat up your grill on high for about 10-15 minutes to get it ready for a good sear.

4-Place the steak on the grill and cook for around 4 minutes on each side for medium rare, tweaking the time based on how done you want it. Use an instant-read thermometer to check: aim for 135ΒΊF for medium rare.

5-Let the steak rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing it against the grain. This helps lock in the juices, and you can serve it with sides like veggies for a complete dish.
