Ingredients

– 10 oz spring lettuce mix or baby spinach

– 3 medium apples, cored and thinly chopped

– 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted

– 1 cup crumbled cheese

– 1/2 cup dried fruit

– 12 oz cooked and chopped meat

– 1/2 small onion, sliced into thin strips

– 1/2 cup oil, regular or light

– 1/4 cup vinegar

– 2 tablespoons syrup

– 1 tablespoon mustard

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1-Prepare the dressing: Prepare the dressing by mixing 1/2 cup oil, 1/4 cup vinegar, 2 tablespoons syrup, 1 tablespoon mustard, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper until well blended. You can stir it in a bowl or shake it in a covered container for even results.

2-Combine the salad ingredients: In a large bowl, combine 10 oz spring lettuce mix, 3 medium chopped apples, 1 cup toasted pecans, 1 cup crumbled cheese, 1/2 cup dried fruit, 12 oz cooked and chopped meat, and 1/2 small sliced onion.

3-Dress the salad: Drizzle the dressing over the salad ingredients and toss gently to coat everything evenly.
