Ingredients

– 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts (3-4 large breasts)

– 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

– 2 tablespoons butter

– 1 (10-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup

– 2 garlic cloves, minced

– 1 cup white wine (such as Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)

– 1/2 cup chicken broth or water

– 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning (a mix of dried basil, oregano, parsley, thyme, rosemary)

– 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 10 ounces angel hair pasta, cooked and drained

– red pepper flakes

– fresh parsley

Instructions

1-First: place the 2 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts in your slow cooker.

2-In a medium bowl, combine 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons butter, 1 (10-ounce) can of cream of mushroom soup, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 cup white wine, 1/2 cup chicken broth or water, 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic, and 1/2 teaspoon salt; mix until mostly smooth.

3-Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken, cover the slow cooker, and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.

4-Once done, break the chicken into chunks using a fork or spatula and stir it into the sauce.

5-Prepare the 10 ounces of angel hair pasta as per package instructions, then serve the chicken and sauce over the pasta, garnishing with chives, red pepper flakes, or fresh parsley as desired.
