2-Next, assemble the sandwiches by placing the cheese slices between two pieces of bread, making sure the buttered sides face outward.

3-Secure each sandwich with a toothpick to keep everything in place during cooking. Place the sandwiches in a single layer in the air fryer basket or on a rack. Cook at 370 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 to 6 minutes, flipping once halfway through until the bread is browned just how you like it.

4-Remove the toothpicks before serving to avoid any mishaps, and let the sandwiches cool slightly for the cheese to set.
