Instructions

1-Peel, core, and slice the apples into even pieces for uniform cooking.

2-Toss the apple slices with 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of vegetable oil to help them crisp up.

3-Place the apples in a single layer in the air fryer basket to allow hot air to circulate evenly.

4-Air fry at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for about 14 minutes, or until they are tender and starting to brown. Shake the basket halfway through for the best results.

5-In a bowl, mix the cooked apples with 2 tablespoons (30 ml) maple syrup, 1 teaspoon (2-3 grams) cinnamon, and 2 tablespoons (25 grams) sugar for added sweetness and flavor.
