2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
ΒΌ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
1 Β½ tablespoons melted butter
1 egg mixed with 1 teaspoon water (egg wash)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375β400Β°F based on your oven and pan size.
2. Grease the skull-shaped baking pan with melted butter.
3. Press pizza dough into each skull cavity, covering the edges.
4. Fill each with 2 tablespoons pizza sauce, 2 tablespoons toppings, β
cup mozzarella, and Parmesan if desired.
5. Add a bit more pizza sauce for extra flavor before sealing.
6. Pinch edges tightly using egg wash and brush tops for a golden crust.
7. Refrigerate filled skulls for 30 minutes to set dough.
8. Bake for 18 to 30 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
9. Cool skulls for 5 minutes, unmold, and optionally brush with butter.
10. Serve immediately with marinara and garnish with herbs.
