  • Total Time: 2.5 to 3 hours
  • Yield: Approximately 30 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 jar (34.5 oz / approximately 978 g) honey roasted peanuts
2 packages (24 oz / approximately 680 g each) vanilla flavored almond bark, broken into squares
2 cups pastel Easter M&M’s, divided (about 300 g total)
Easter sprinkles for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Pour the honey roasted peanuts evenly into the bottom of a 5 to 6-quart crockpot.
2. Break the almond bark into squares and layer them over the peanuts.
3. Cover and cook on LOW heat for 1 hour without lifting the lid.
4. Stir the mixture thoroughly to coat the peanuts in melted almond bark.
5. Cover again and cook on LOW for an additional 30 minutes to 1 hour, stirring every 15-20 minutes to ensure smoothness and prevent burning.
6. Once melted and well combined, remove the crockpot insert using oven mitts.
7. Quickly fold in 1 cup of the pastel M&M’s, working fast to prevent melting.
8. Use a 1- to 3-tablespoon scoop to drop candy clusters onto parchment paper or a lined cookie sheet.
9. Top each cluster with the remaining M&M’s and Easter sprinkles.
10. Allow candy to set at room temperature for about 1 hour or refrigerate for 30 minutes to speed up firming.
