  • Total Time: 2 to 3 hours
  • Yield: 48 clusters 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 (16-ounce / 454 g) jar dry roasted salted peanuts
1 (16-ounce / 454 g) jar dry roasted unsalted peanuts
12 ounces (340 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 ounces (113 g) German sweet baking chocolate, chopped
2 pounds (907 g) vanilla-flavored almond bark
Optional garnishes: sea salt, holiday sprinkles, crushed candy canes, toffee bits, mini marshmallows, additional crushed nuts

Instructions

1. In a 5-quart slow cooker, combine the salted peanuts, unsalted peanuts, semi-sweet chocolate chips, chopped German chocolate, and almond bark pieces.

2. Cover and cook on low heat for about 1 to 2 hours. Stir once after 1 hour when ingredients start melting, then every 15-20 minutes.

3. Once melted and smooth, turn off the slow cooker.

4. Line baking sheets or a countertop with parchment or wax paper. Use a spoon to drop heaping tablespoons of the mixture onto the lined surface.

5. Garnish with optional toppings like sea salt or sprinkles while clusters are warm.

6. Chill the clusters in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes until set or let them rest at room temperature for 1 to 4 hours.

7. Store candies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one month. Freeze for longer storage if desired.
